You can see, in the caption in the third panel, where I finally noticed that my lettering pen was dying and switched to a new pen. Man I wish I had done that sooner.

This page is also a first. Up until this point, it's been unclear if Laser Brigade is set in the future or if it's some complete other universe that's unconnected to ours. But that individual who's off-panel just said "old Earth story" so, what do you know, it's set in the future.

Also, I don't make it a habit of doing research for this comic, but I will admit to doing a Google image search for "ancient Greek ship."

Didn't the Reverend Alice once say something about how comic fans' attachment to continuity must change or die?

I think so? Are you comparing the comic industry to Theseus's ship?

Not Theseus' ship, but this idea that you have now in a sense made it canon that Laser Brigade takes place in our future. That's the kind of thing that only a hardcore comics, sci fi, or fantasy fan (of which, I will admit, I am one) even considers much less cares about. I think Alice was bemused at how much this pinning-down-of-details matters to us, and how little it matters to others.

Ah, I get it. Because I am a hardcore fan it didn't even occur to me that most people wouldn't care about that detail, but you are right.
